One of my favorite reggae artists has passed away. He was described in the New York Times as "the most exquisite vocalist in reggae", and that could not be further from the truth. Known as the "cool ruler", he was a smooth operator both on stage and in recording. In his honor, Phish covered his famous song "Night Nurse" at a show they played the night after his passing.
